SCINI contained cameras and\nthrusters, and towed a sensor package consisting of a WET Labs fluorometer\n(ECO-AFL/FL) and a single-beam Biosonics 120 kHz DT-X echosounder. Visual\ntargets were identified to the lowest taxon possible; these observations were\nused primarily to verify classification of acoustic signals. The echosounder\noperated at a nominal ping rate of 1 ping s-1; however, this rate was\noccasionally adjusted if false bottom signals were observed. The general\nprofile of a dive included a surface transect of ~300 m horizontal distance,\nwhere the acoustic transducer faced downward, and also a dive to ~120 m if\nconditions allowed. Echogram data were saved to a depth of 500 m, and\nbackground noise was removed. https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/tabledap/bcodmo_dataset_773146 https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/tabledap/bcodmo_dataset_773146.graph https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/files/bcodmo_dataset_773146/ public CARIACO time series individual CTD profiles from B/O Hermano Gines HG93_CARIACO in the CARIACO basin from 1995-2017 (CARIACO project) This collection of data comprises all the Individual CTD profiles from the Cariaco basin taken as part of the CARIACO Ocean Time-Series Program from November 1995 to January 2017.  These include all the CTD profiles taken during the monthly hydrographic cruises at the CARIACO station (10.50\\u00b0 N, 64.67\\u00b0 W), as well as other CTD profiles from extra legs of the monthly cruises, and few spatial cruises collected in and around the Cariaco basin. CTD\\u2019s Salinity and Oxygen where calibrated with in-situ measurements (see Acquisition Description). This dataset is complimentary to the monthly \\u201cCTD Composite Profiles\\u201d (https://www.bco-dmo.org/dataset/3092), and many fields are very similar to that data-base. Ancillary data including nutrient concentrations and the abundance of ammonia- and nitrite-oxidizing microorganisms are also reported. The samples analyzed to produce the dataset were collected off the coast of Georgia, USA. Monthly cruises were conducted to the CARIACO station (10.50\\u00b0 N, 64.67\\u00b0 W) onboard the R/V Hermano Gin\\u00e9s of the Fundaci\\u00f3n La Salle de Ciencias Naturales de Venezuela. During each cruise, a minimum of four hydrocasts were performed to collect a suite of core monthly observations. We conducted separate shallow and deep casts to obtain a better vertical resolution of in-situ Niskin-bottles samples for chemical observations, and for productivity, phytoplankton, and pigment observations. One CTD composite profile was created for each cruise by stitching together the sections of the different cruise's CTD profiles at the depth interval where water samples were obtained. CTD\\u2019s Salinity, Oxygen, and Fluorescence where calibrated with in-situ measurements. The composite CTD profiles dataset is a complement of the hydrographic time series data obtained with the Niskin Bottle Samples (https://www.bco-dmo.org/dataset/3093).
