Water for these dissolved gas isotope samples was the first to be sampled from a given Niskin bottle. When possible, bottles from the same cast were sampled, but depth profiles often came from separate casts at the same site.\n\ncdm_data_type = Other\nVARIABLES:\ndescription (unitless)\ndate (unitless)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\ndepth (m)\nO2_O2sat (unitless)\nd18O (D18 O, parts per thousand)\nD17O (D17 O, parts per million)\nD35 (parts per thousand)\nD36 (parts per thousand)\n https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/bcodmo_dataset_753594_fgdc.xml https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/bcodmo_dataset_753594_iso19115.xml https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/info/bcodmo_dataset_753594/index.htmlTable https://www.bco-dmo.org/dataset/753594 (external link) https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/rss/bcodmo_dataset_753594.rss https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=bcodmo_dataset_753594&showErrors=false&email= BCO-DMO bcodmo_dataset_753594

(Understanding How Virus Infection Affects Gene Flow and Microbial Evolution in Extreme Polar Environments) Sea ice cores were collected at 71.2944\\u02daN, 156.7153\\u02daW and 71.3729\\u02daN, 156.5073\\u02daW in May 2017 and at 71.4730\\u02daN, 156.7294\\u02daW in May 2018. Sea ice cores were drilled with a MARK II ice auger (Kovacs Enterprise). The cores were sectioned immediately after collection with a clean rust-proof, custom alloy bow saw in the field in 5 cm sections and each was collected in sterile Whirlpak\\u00ae bags. Core sections were melted at room temperature before volumes were allocated for nutrient, water isotope, and bulk salinity measurements. Analytical measurements were made upon sample return to the University of Washington and to the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Associated temperature profile data were acquired from the nearby UAF Sea Ice Mass Balance site.\n\ncdm_data_type = Other\nVARIABLES:\nsheet_name (unitless)\nlocation (unitless)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\ndate (unitless)\nSea_ice_depth (centimeters (cm))\nBulk_salinity (unitless)\nUAF_Mass_Balance_Temperature (degrees Celsius (C))\nPO4 (Mass Concentration Of Phosphate In Sea Water, microMole (uM))\nSiO4 (Si O4, microMole (uM))\nNO3 (Mole Concentration Of Nitrate In Sea Water, microMole (uM))\nNO2 (Mole Concentration Of Nitrite In Sea Water, microMole (uM))\nNH4 (Mole Concentration Of Ammonium In Sea Water, microMole (uM))\nd2H (D2 H, parts per thousand (o/oo))\nd18O (D18 O, parts per thousand (o/oo))\nnotes (unitless)\n https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/bcodmo_dataset_816755_fgdc.xml https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/bcodmo_dataset_816755_iso19115.xml https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/info/bcodmo_dataset_816755/index.htmlTable https://www.bco-dmo.org/dataset/816755 (external link) https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/rss/bcodmo_dataset_816755.rss https://erddap.bco-dmo.org/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=bcodmo_dataset_816755&showErrors=false&email= BCO-DMO bcodmo_dataset_816755
