These flow cytometry results include abundances of phytoplankton taxa (Prochlorococcus, Synechococcus, photosynthetic eukaryotes), non-pigmented bacteria (HBACT), heterotrophic eukaryotes (HEUK), and potential mixotrophic eukaryotes (MEUK). Photosynthetic eukaryote (PEUK) abundance includes the MEUK cells reported (e.g., MEUK are a subset of the PEUK cells with chlorophyll and acidic-vacuoles).
