These were carried out by undergraduate student Avery Wang and Research Scientist Jahander Ramezani. The north-south transect shows large Pb concentration and Pb isotope changes. The Pb concentration variability is very similar to the Pb concentrations measured independently by Dr. Marsay. The Pb isotope ratios show a strong Chinese signature in the northern portion of the transect, and ratios more similar to American and Australian signatures further south.
